Side A was recorded at Mr. Beery’s in Bethpage, NY and finds Half Dizzy tearing through infectious ska grooves, fast punk riffs, hardcore bite, gritty vocals, and huge singalong choruses. Voted Best Long Island Band by Alternative Press readers in 2025, Half Dizzy bring the kind of high energy set that makes a live record feel like you are pressed against the stage. Side B features ChumHuffer recorded at Blue Point Brewing Company, delivering loud, fast New York Sharkcore packed with anxiety, dark humor, riffs, hooks, crowd noise, imperfections, and songs about the beautiful dumpster fire of modern life. Together, the two bands make this split a raw document of local scene energy, built for fans who want their punk real, messy, urgent, and turned all the way up. Half Dizzy’s side includes “Sidelines,” “Never Been Happier,” “Late Nights,” “Propaganda,” and more, while ChumHuffer’s side spans their catalog with “Miami,” “Slaughterhouse,” “Blood in the Water,” “Lifeline,” “Cancel Me,” “Trawler,” and “Orgy of Hate.” Half Dizzy was recorded by Mike Longo and mixed and mastered by Joshua “Danger” Dobbs at Danger Room Recording Services.
