Chemical-X is a fast, frenetic punk rock band from Bergen County, New Jersey, formed in 2021 and built around one simple idea: play fast, play hard, and make it matter. Blending the speed and bite of classic punk with strong melodic hooks, the band has earned a growing national following through constant releases, relentless self-promotion, and multiple tours across the country. For fans of Black Flag, Descendents, Circle Jerks, and the kind of punk that hits hard without losing its sense of melody, Chemical-X brings urgency, frustration, and heart in equal measure. DCxPC Live and Phameless Records Vol. 48 captures the band live at Will’s Pub in Orlando, Florida during their 2026 “Across the States” tour, which ran from January 22nd to March 6th. The show was recorded after an earlier planned Philadelphia recording was derailed, making the Orlando set the moment that preserved this tour on vinyl. The record features the core set Chemical-X played throughout the tour, with the added bonus of a rotating cover song, in this case a T.S.O.L. cover. Recorded by Mason Krug and mixed and mastered by Joshua “Danger” Dobbs at Danger Room Recording Services, this release documents Chemical-X at full speed: tight, loud, raw, melodic, and fully locked in. Co-released by DCxPC Live and Phameless Records, Vol. 48 is more than just another live record. It is a snapshot of a hardworking band on the road, bringing their songs to rooms across the country and proving why their live energy deserves to be pressed to wax. It is the sound of a punk band in motion, captured in the moment, with all the sweat, speed, grit, and urgency that makes live music worth documenting in the first place.
