“The Real Will Wood” is a genre-bending mockumentary concert film co-created by Will Wood and Chris Dunne (Life in the World to Come, Revelator). It features Will Wood and the Tapeworms performing songs from “Everything is a Lot” and “SELF-iSH.” These were recorded at Roxy & Dukes in New Jersey in 2017.
This performance showcased the raw power of the real Will Wood alongside his Tapeworms. It vividly captures the essence of the “Will Wood and the Tapeworms” experience.
The band was at its peak, bigger than ever. Until recently, this raw, high-energy live album and the film have had only limited releases. They solidified the legend of Will Wood and the Tapeworms. Here, we see the real spirit behind “Will Wood and the Tapeworms” in the real world of their music.
