Description
Emerging from the clang and haze of shoegaze-influenced post-punk, Old Moon’s sound has steadily expanded with each release into a broader, more textured palette, folding in acoustic guitars, synths, and breakbeat rhythms. The new album Around Again began as a collection of sparse sketches on a 1930s parlor guitar. In the studio, those spare ideas bloomed into beat-driven, dream-soaked guitar tracks, balancing intimacy with an enveloping sense of atmosphere. Mixed expertly by Shaun Durkan (crushed, Weekend), Around Again’s eight tracks mark a significant step forward.
