Get Weak is the debut LP from Glimmer, a New York-based band that burst onto the scene two years ago with their unique mix of grunge, shoegaze, and dream-pop. Falling somewhere between the hazy shoegaze stylings of My Bloody Valentine and Smashing Pumpkins and the heavy-hitting punch of bands like Narrow Head and Superheaven, Glimmer’s sound is simultaneously nostalgic and of-the-moment.
