\nNashville Pussy went into the studio with legendary producer Daniel Rey (Ramones, Raging Slab) to make the ultimate Rock’n’Roll party record. The album features a cover version of Ike & Tina Turner’s ‘Nutbush City Limits’. In addition, there is a guest slide guitar performance by Rick Richards of the Georgia Satellites and Izzy Stradlin. Nashville Pussy continues their tradition of Raunch and Roll.<\/p>\n

Better make that Get Some More.<\/p>\n
On their fourth album, white-trash rednecks Nashville Pussy are raising hell again. I know this because the disc has a song called Raising Hell Again. It also has tunes called Pussy Time, Good Night For A Heart Attack, Hate And Whiskey, Lazy White Boy, Hell Ain\u2019t What It Used To Be and Meaner Than My Mama.<\/p>\n
All of these serve up the usual snakebite cocktail of AC\/DC licks (from underdressed guitar goddess Ruyter Suys). Furthermore, there are thumping biker-bar grooves from the rhythm section (featuring yet another new chick bassist). Alice Cooper-on-steroids vocals are delivered by mean-mofo main man Blaine Cartwright.<\/p>\n
Most of the 13 tightly rolled numbers on this 40-minute slab of southern-fried riffage are every bit as greasy, sleazy and cheesy as anything from 2002\u2019s Say Something Nasty. However, the covers of Ike and Tina Turner\u2019s Nutbush City Limits and Ace Frehley\u2019s Snowblind make it clear they listen to slightly better music than they write.
